Passenger Terms

1. Scope#

The public website currently accepts passenger interest registrations and does not accept taxi bookings. Registering interest does not guarantee access or create an account. These terms also state the enduring role distinction on which the planned passenger service is based.

2. Booking relationship#

Toke is a technology platform. It helps passengers discover and request journeys from independent, licensed taxi drivers and provides booking, communication and payment-facilitation tools. Toke does not provide transportation. The licensed driver fulfils the journey and is the passenger’s transport provider.

3. Passenger responsibilities#

Passengers must provide accurate registration and, when booking opens, pickup, destination and accessibility information; use the service lawfully; treat drivers and vehicles respectfully; and avoid requests that would require unlawful or unsafe conduct. A person arranging travel for someone else must have authority and provide information responsibly.

4. Fares, payments and cancellations#

Licensed taxi fares remain subject to applicable regulation and the journey actually provided. Before public booking, Toke will show the available fare information and any known supplements. Payment facilitation does not make Toke the transport provider. Applicable cancellation and refund information will be shown before a passenger confirms a booking.

5. Safety and accessibility#

In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service. Platform concerns may be reported by email to contacto@toketaxi.net. Drivers remain responsible for transport, licensing, insurance, accessibility and non-discrimination duties. Toke may restrict access for fraud, abuse, safety risk or serious breach.

6. Privacy, complaints and changes#

Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy. Questions, complaints or requests to withdraw an interest registration may be emailed to Toke. Material changes will be published with an updated version and effective date.
